A short while ago, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, accompanied by numerous clergy, visited the Yerablur Military Pantheon of Yerevan.

But he did not answer any of the reporters' questions, although numerous questions were raised regarding the developments and future course of action in connection with the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The clergy offered a joint prayer, then performed a spiritual service in memory of Armenians who sacrificed their lives in the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) wars.

After this ceremony also, the Catholicos did not answer any questions.

Those accompanying him noted that all questions would be addressed separately later.

Also, Karekin II laid flowers at the monument built in Yerablur and at some other graves.

Subsequently, the Catholicos did speak with reporters and said. “Every time we visit this sacred place, we present you with a request: not to disturb the meaning of the day, to allow us to live this day in the meaning of the day. We have conveyed our message on this occasion, we have come here to bow before the memory of our children, and to pray to God for the peaceful, safe, and prosperous life of our homeland. Allow to live this day in its meaning and to not disturb the meaning of the day with unnecessary inquiries. You have the opportunity to direct these inquiries on other occasions. Contact the director of our information department. May God bless you, remain in peace.”

Then the Catholicos of All Armenians, accompanied by the clergy, left Yerablur.
