The crew of the passenger airplane of the Flydubai airline which was conducting the Dubai-Yerevan flight decided to land in the airport of Erbil city because of snow fall in Armenia, the press secretary Nelly Cherchinyan of the General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA) told the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to her, the crew had decided to land in Erbil before the flight. After the Dubai-Yerevan board lands the crew will decide what to do next.

Nelly Cherchinyan was not able to answer where the passenger’s would spend the night.

She also informed that Zvartnots international airport is open for flights.
