Armenia continues negotiations with the Russian side on the repair of railway sections connecting Armenia with Azerbaijan and Turkey. The Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Davit Khudatyan, told this to a press conference Tuesday.
Khudatyan noted that according to the Armenian authorities, the repair work in the aforementioned railway sections shall be carried out by the Russian side, and he added that there were no changes in this regard.
“We expect that we will have a final decision on this. But at the moment we do not have one,” he said.
Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had called on Russia to urgently repair the sections of the Armenian railway from Yeraskh to the Nakhichevan (Azerbaijan) border, from Ijevan to Ghazakh (Azerbaijan), as well as from Akhurik to the Turkish border.
