ANKARA. – Turkey intends to turn to the UN appealing to launch a campaign for providing humanitarian aid for Syria, Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu said on Saturday.

The Minister said that he had already requested Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva to provide humanitarian assistance.

“We turn to the OHCHR to secure humanitarian aid for Syria, in particular Zabadani and Homs cities,” Davutoglu said, Interfax reports.
