Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that he sees “good prospects” for the nuclear talks with the US, the next round of which will take place in Geneva, Switzerland.

“We see good prospects for the talks,” Pezeshkian said on Iranian state television.

The third round of indirect talks between Iran and the US to resolve the situation over Iran’s nuclear program will be held in Geneva on Thursday.

The Iranian authorities have repeatedly stated that they have no intention of developing nuclear weapons.
