YEREVAN. - Belarusian National Assembly delegation on Tuesday met with the Armenian parliamentary representatives in the European structures. Belarusian Ambassador to Armenia Stepan Sukhorenko and Armenian Co-Chair of Inter-parliamentary Cooperation Committee Hrayr Karapetyan also participated in the meeting.

Head of the Armenian delegation at Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Vahan Hovhannisyan and Deputy Chairman of Belarusian Palace of Representatives Viktor Guminsky discussed cooperation opportunities within the Eastern Partnership, parliamentary press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. To note, Yerevan will host Euronest committee snap session on social, educational-cultural, and public society issues next week.

Guminsky thanked Armenia for its constructive approach and regretted for the double standards implemented towards Belarus. He said economic cooperation is too active with the EU states, the problem is just political.

The parties, besides bilateral cooperation issues, also touched upon political, economic, military and public cooperation.
