Wizz Air has suspended flights to Israel, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Amman until March 7, BBC reports.

Virgin Atlantic said it will temporarily avoid Iraqi airspace and has canceled its Saturday flight from Heathrow Airport to Dubai.

According to state media, Kuwait’s aviation authorities have announced the suspension of all flights to Iran until further notice.

Some countries in the region, including Iraq and Jordan, have also closed their airspace. State media reported that the United Arab Emirates has “partially and temporarily” closed its airspace as a precautionary measure.
