A total of 201 people were killed and 747 injured as a result of the attacks on Iran, Tasnim News Agency reports, citing the Iranian Red Crescent Society.

Twenty-four provinces across the country were affected by the strikes.

More than 220 Red Crescent operational teams are on standby.

The United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran on February 28. Strikes hit the capital, Tehran, and other major cities. Shortly after the attacks, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a large-scale retaliatory operation. Reports followed of missile and drone launches by Iran targeting Israel and U.S. military bases in Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
