It has been confirmed that former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been killed, according to the Telegram channel Iranist.

Earlier, reports said that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Seyed Khamenei was killed in US and Israeli strikes.

Iranian media also confirmed the deaths of IRGC Commander-in-Chief Mohammad Pakpour, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Defense Council Ali Shamkhani, Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, and Defense and Armed Forces Logistics Minister Amir Nasirzadeh.

Israel, for its part, stated that it had killed 40 high-ranking Iranian commanders.
