The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that its forces destroyed the headquarters of Iran's internal security forces amid a series of airstrikes on Tehran today, Times of Israel reports.

Dozens of fighter jets struck dozens of Iranian regime headquarters, including the general staff of Iran's internal security forces, the IDF stated.

According to the IDF, the internal security forces headquarters "served as a command center responsible for communications between the command echelon and the forces of the Iranian terrorist regime in the field, and directed brutal repression against the Iranian people."

The IDF also states that it destroyed a complex serving the headquarters of "Thar-Allah," the IRGC unit responsible for security in the Tehran area.
