Mehr news agency has published photographs of the residence where Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Seyyed Khamenei was killed.
Earlier this morning, Iranian media reported that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed at his workplace in his residence. At the moment of his death he was on duty in his office, and the killing occurred in the early morning of Saturday, February 28.
As the agency notes, media had repeatedly claimed that Khamenei was allegedly hiding in a secret and well-guarded location for security reasons. "His killing at his workplace once again refuted these claims and the enemy's psychological warfare, showing that he was always among the people and at his post," the statement reads.
US media, meanwhile, reported that the killing of Khamenei was carefully planned by the CIA.
