Golestan Palace in Iran, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was damaged as a result of US and Israeli strikes, Mehr News Agency reports.
According to the agency, the palace's famous Hall of Mirrors of the Throne, along with museum exhibits, had previously been moved to secure storage following the January protests and during the 12-day war in June 2025.
Golestan Palace first became a center of power during the Qajar dynasty era, when the capital was moved to Tehran, and remained so during the Pahlavi dynasty.
