Long queues have formed at gas stations across Germany amid rising fuel prices, Bild reports. As the US-Israeli conflict with Iran escalates, German drivers are rushing to fill their tanks, fearing a sharp rise in petrol and diesel prices.

Herbert Rabl, a spokesman for the German Petrol Station Association, said: "Long queues are being seen at gas stations across Germany. Everyone is worried."

Prices at the pump have already risen. Major fuel companies announced they will add another "two to three percent" to prices. On Friday, a litre of Super E10 cost €1.780, on Sunday €1.791, and on Monday €1.830. "We expect prices to rise further," said a spokeswoman for the German Automobile Club (ADAC).
