Traffic through the border crossing on the Syrian-Lebanese border has been temporarily halted due to the threat of possible Israeli strikes, Director of the General Directorate of Land Border Crossings Mazen Alloush announced.

"Passenger traffic through the Jdeidet Yabous crossing has been suspended in both directions after the Lebanese side received an evacuation warning due to the possibility of Israeli forces bombing the area," the statement reads.
