There are kilometer-long queues of trucks at the Armenia-Iran border checkpoint.

The checkpoint has not been able to operate since 4am due to technical problems.

About two dozen Iranians are stuck at the border and are unable to cross, the Armenian News-NEWS.am's correspondent reports from the area.

In addition, there are Armenian citizens who want to cross into Iran, but are forced to return after crossing the Armenian part of the border because the Iranian side is unable to process their entry due to the lack of internet connection.
