The Israeli government has approved Operation "Wings of the Lion" to evacuate Israelis from abroad. As part of the operation, Ben Gurion Airport will begin accepting evacuation flights on March 5, Kan reports.
According to the broadcaster, Israeli airline Arkia will operate a series of special flights. In the first phase, planes will arrive in Tel Aviv only from Athens, Bangkok, Dubai, Larnaca, New York and Rome.
