US intelligence agencies are investigating reports that Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the slain Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has been nominated to be the next Supreme Leader of Iran, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

And commenting on the military operation being carried out by US and Israeli forces against Iran, Levitt added that the factor of finding out the location of Ali Khamenei had influenced the operation, but it was not decisive for the decision of the US leadership to launch the attack.
