Iran has issued a fatwa on jihad, calling for "shedding the blood of Zionists and US President Donald Trump," Tasnim News Agency reports.
The fatwa was authored by Grand Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Amoli, a jurist, philosopher, and Quran analyst. He stressed that the absence of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is unbearable. At the same time, according to Javadi Amoli, "even with the slightest suffering, countless treasures await ahead."
On March 1, Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi had declared jihad against the US and Israel. He stated that the people of Iran and the Islamic world must avenge the blood shed by Khamenei.
