Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior said that one of its facilities in an industrial zone where an oil refinery is located had been attacked.

“One facility in Maameer was targeted, and the relevant authorities are dealing with this incident,” Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said in a statement.

One eyewitness told AFP that he saw smoke rising from the area.

It should be recalled that the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran on February 28. The strikes hit the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Tehran, and the country’s largest cities. Immediately after the strikes, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a large-scale retaliatory operation. Missile and drone launches by Iran against Israel and US military bases in Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE and Saudi Arabia were reported.

During the attack by Israel and the United States, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Seyed Khamenei and other high-ranking officials of the country were also killed.

On March 2, the Hezbollah movement also entered the war against Israel. Israel reported the start of an offensive operation against the movement.
