The attack on a school in southern Iran in which hundreds of children were killed was carried out from the US Al-Dhafra Air Base in the UAE, Fars reports, citing an IRGC statement.

The base was struck with ballistic missiles on February 28. Iran's Foreign Ministry had previously stated that the school was hit by two missiles and that the strike was deliberate.

Today, Iranian forces struck Al-Dhafra Air Base again. One of the missiles launched by Iran, shown earlier by Iranian media, bears the inscription: "In memory of the schoolgirls of Minab."

"The target was Al-Dhafra Air Base in the UAE, used by American forces in the region. The criminal attack on the Shajara Tayeba school, which killed 165 female students, was carried out from this base," the IRGC statement reads.
