Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi, commenting on the drone incident in Nakhijevan, said Tehran is maintaining contact with Azerbaijan and has explained it is not responsible for the incident.
"We are in close contact with our Azerbaijani friends and brothers and have explained to them that Iran is not responsible for this attack. We are investigating what happened and will inform our Azerbaijani friends about our investigation," he said in an interview with France24.
