Due to the situation in the Middle East, approximately two dozen citizens of the Republic of Armenia are currently in Israel, with the embassy maintaining regular contact with most of them.
Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ani Badalyan said that on March 5, Israel's Ministry of Tourism announced the possibility of organizing transportation for foreign nationals to the border crossing with Egypt. The embassy informed Armenian citizens remaining in Israel due to the consequences of hostilities about this initiative.
Four of them have responded so far, indicating they prefer to remain in Israel for now and wait for Ben Gurion Airport to reopen.
Around ten Armenian citizens are studying at various universities and high schools in Israel and have not expressed a desire to return to Armenia at this time.
