Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that Lebanon will pay the “full price” if the Hezbollah movement continues to threaten Israel, the Times of Israel reports.

According to Katz, Beirut has not fulfilled its obligations to disarm the movement, as stipulated in the November 2024 ceasefire agreement.

The defense minister noted that Israel will not allow attacks on its troops or communities from Lebanese territory, stating that residents will not be evacuated.

“You committed… to uphold the agreement and disarm Hezbollah, but this is not happening,” Katz said in a message to Lebanese President Joseph Aoun. “Act before we do even more.”

Katz added that Israel has no territorial claims against Lebanon but will not allow a return to years of cross-border attacks.

“If [Hassan] Nasrallah destroyed Lebanon, then Naim Qassem will destroy it in the same way,” he said.
