IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini stated that the country's powerful armed forces are fully prepared for a large-scale war with the US and Israel lasting six months, Mehr reports.

Speaking on television late Saturday evening, Brigadier General Naeini reviewed recent battlefield developments and predicted the course of military operations. "The terrorist US army and the criminal Zionist regime jointly attacked Iran on Saturday, February 28, with a force of more than 50,000 personnel, two aircraft carriers, 200 modern fighter jets, destroyers, missile systems and nuclear submarines, and unambiguously declared that their main goal is regime change in Iran — and for this reason they carried out large-scale aggression against Iranian territory," the Iranian general stated.

Overall, the "malicious" goals of the US and Israel have failed due to their miscalculations on three fronts, Naeini emphasized. "It has become clear that the enemy has no clear understanding of the political, military and social structure of the Islamic Republic of Iran," he said, adding that the Islamic establishment is invincible, and this invincibility has manifested itself during the war.
