Israel's Health Ministry reports that at least 1,929 people have been hospitalized since the start of the war against Iran, including 157 in the last 24 hours.

The ministry said nine people are in serious condition, 42 in moderate condition, and 70 have light injuries. A significant number of those who arrived at hospitals were injured while descending to protected areas, according to the statement.

For context: the US and Israel have been attacking Iranian territory since February 28, causing destruction and casualties. In response, Iran has been launching missile strikes against Israel and US military bases in the region. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Seyyed Khamenei and other senior officials were killed in the US-Israeli strikes. On March 2, Hezbollah joined the war against Israel, with Israel announcing the launch of an offensive operation against the movement.
