Iran's ambassador in Ankara has been summoned to Turkey's Foreign Ministry. According to Turkish Hurriyet, the Iranian ambassador was asked to provide clarification regarding a ballistic missile neutralized today in Gaziantep province, which was most likely launched from Iranian territory.
NATO air defense systems on duty in the Mediterranean intercepted the ballistic missile in Turkish airspace. The remnants of the intercepted missile fell in Gaziantep province. No casualties were reported in connection with the incident.
