A session of the Supreme Spiritual Council has opened at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin under the chairmanship of His Holiness Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.

According to the Mother See chancellery, following a prayer, the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his blessings and good wishes to the clergy, laity, and members of the Supreme Spiritual Council.

The agenda of the Supreme Spiritual Council includes matters relating to the convening and organizational work of the Ecclesiastical Representative Assembly, as well as the pastoral, educational, canonical, administrative, disciplinary, and social mission of the Church. Church life matters will also be discussed.

In accordance with established procedure, a report on the activities of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin for 2025 will be presented to the Supreme Spiritual Council, along with a report on spiritual-administrative activities, a financial report and the annual report of the Audit Commission.
