Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf declared that Iran will follow an "eye for an eye" approach in the war, responding to any "acts of aggression" with a proportional and immediate response.

"No act of aggression will go unanswered. Today we declare the rule of 'an eye for an eye' — without hesitation and without exceptions," Qalibaf wrote on X.

"If they wage war against infrastructure, we will certainly target infrastructure in response," he added.
