Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denied reports that the country's Supreme Leader is experiencing health problems in an interview with Al Araby Al Jadeed.
He emphasized that there are no signs of deterioration and that the leader is fulfilling all his duties in full. The minister stated that claims by American officials about possible injuries or serious illness are incorrect and unfounded.
According to Araghchi, events observed in Iran do not indicate any disruption to the Supreme Leader's activities, and rumors about his illness or injuries are attempts to destabilize the domestic situation and sow uncertainty among the population and the international community.
The minister also noted that the country's leadership continues to work normally and all government bodies are functioning without changes.
Araghchi's statement came amid the active spread of rumors about the Iranian leader's health, which have appeared in recent days in a number of foreign sources, including statements by US President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
The foreign minister stressed that such reports do not correspond to reality and should not mislead the public.
Thus, Iran's official position remains unambiguous: the Supreme Leader is healthy and continues to perform his functions, and rumors about his illness or injuries are completely false.
