Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani issued a message to Muslim nations, emphasizing that Iran remains "unwavering" in its fight against the U.S. and Israel.
Larijani expressed disappointment that many Muslim-majority states have not supported Iran during the attacks on the country.
"Some states have gone even further, declaring Iran their enemy simply because it struck American bases and American and Israeli interests on their territory," he said.
"Today's confrontation is, in essence, America and Israel on one side, and Muslim Iran together with the forces of resistance on the other. Whose side are you on?"
He renewed his call for Muslim unity and stressed that Iran does not seek regional hegemony. "You know full well that America is unreliable and that Israel is in fact your enemy. Pause for a moment and think about yourselves and the future of the region. Iran offers you advice and does not seek to dominate you. The unity of the Islamic Ummah, if fully achieved, can guarantee the security, progress, and independence of all its nations."
