Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows: Acting director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, former diplomat Hrachya Tashchyan, who expressed willingness to advance [PM] Nikol Pashinyan's "line," it turns out that while working as an assistant in Pashinyan's staff, he participated in secret negotiations with the Azerbaijani side in 2018-2019.

Let us recall that it was on July 9, 2020 that he was appointed Head of the Foreign Relations Department at the Prime Minister's Office for a term of 3 years, and 1.5 years later, in December 2021, Pashinyan dismissed him when there were leaks about these negotiations. He [i.e. Tashchyan] was in correspondence, in particular, with Hikmet Hajiyev, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration.

They say he [i.e. Tashchyan] served the [incumbent Armenian authorities’] predecessors also with the same willingness. Before being appointed as Pashinyan's assistant, he held positions in the RA MFA: head of the NATO department, envoy of the RA Embassy in the US, head of the foreign relations department of the RA government staff. Tashchyan has the diplomatic rank of RA envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary.
