A Lockheed Martin C-130J-30 Super Hercules aircraft of the Algerian Air Force flew to Azerbaijan via Armenia for diplomatic purposes, the Armenian foreign ministry stated in response to a respective request from Sputnik Armenia.
“The flight of the C-130J aircraft via Armenia’s airspace on the Boufarik-Baku route, according to the information provided by the conducting party, was carried out for diplomatic purposes,” the Armenian foreign ministry said.
This aircraft had used Armenian airspace in February to fly from the Turkish capital, Ankara, to the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, and from there to Boufarik, Algeria.
