The Iranian embassy in Armenia has reported need for medicines and medical supplies, the embassy noted in a statement.

“In response to numerous calls from our compatriots living in Armenia, as well as Armenian friends, for financial and humanitarian (especially medicines) assistance, we hereby inform that the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran has expressed its readiness to urgently receive any necessary medicines and medical supplies from individuals, as well as humanitarian organizations, medical equipment suppliers, pharmaceutical companies and rescue organizations,” the statement released by the Iranian embassy in Armenia said.

According to the Red Crescent Society’s statement, given the increase in the number of injured and the overload of medical centers in Iran, medical assistance, vital medicines, surgical equipment, serum, and medical supplies are urgently needed.

"Therefore, we invite all compatriots and individuals, Armenian organizations and suppliers to initiate the provision of the mentioned items for delivery as soon as possible.

The following account number has been opened in the Yerevan branch of Mellat Bank for cash assistance: 2080000000330400," the statement also reads.
