Iranian authorities have executed Kouroush Keyvani, a man convicted of spying for Israel's national foreign intelligence agency, Mossad, Fars reports.

According to Iranian state media, Keyvani had provided Israeli intelligence with photographs and information about strategic locations in Iran.

The execution was carried out after the conclusion of legal proceedings and approval by Iran’s Supreme Court.

According to a statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the suspect was arrested on June 15 at a private home in Savojbolagh County, on the fourth day of the 12-day war last year. After the arrest, 30,000 euros in cash, a truck, a motorcycle, as well as intelligence and satellite communications equipment were found in his possession.
