Israeli forces have bombed the town of Sahmar in eastern Lebanon’s Bekaa Valle for the second time Wednesday morning, Al Jazeera reports.

The attacks came after Israeli forces carried out two airstrikes on the town of Yahmar in the Bekaa Valley.

Several Israeli strikes were also carried out overnight in central Beirut, the Lebanese capital, as well as in southern Lebanon.

Lebanese authorities said at least six people were killed in Beirut and 11 more in the south.

Israeli forces also bombed a building in central Beirut, where a search for survivors is in progress.

At midnight, the Israeli army issued a new evacuation order from the coastal city of Tyre in southern Lebanon. The remaining residents of the pre-war population of 50,000 were forced to pack their belongings, get into cars, and flee in the darkness.
