I laud peace, I laud the fact that for more than two years, no soldier has been killed and will not be killed, for the next two years, for 22 years, for 122 years, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan stated in an interview with Armlur.am in the National Assembly of Armenia today.

“And during that conditional peace, dozens, hundreds of Armenia’s soldiers were killed. I am doing everything so that our children do not die, and I will continue to do so, because those who warm their hands on the blood of other people's children have long ago either relieved their own children from the army, or made them citizens of America, Russia and France, and I don’t a citizen of where,” Papoyan added.

Regarding the remark that drivers in Armenia complain that the quality of imported Azerbaijani gasoline is not good, and that is the reason for equipment breakdowns, Papoyan said: “We have not received such a complaint, but we have a study, research. Moreover, the gasoline that comes to Armenia also undergoes the same test. The quality of that gasoline was of high quality. Secondly, there is a company that allegedly says that it must sell European gasoline or that it is European gasoline, but it is Azerbaijani gasoline. It purchased it from Azerbaijan, and we have set a very clear task that it must either declare that it is Azerbaijani gasoline, or it will not be able to sell it, because you cannot deceive people, transfer money to Azerbaijan, bring Azerbaijani gasoline to Armenia, name it ‘European’ and sell it, and play a false patriot. I won't let anyone do that. That information is transmitted transparently and non-transparently, and they know about it very well,” Papoyan said.

And when asked to name names, the economy minister said: "That company has a choice: it will either not sell that gasoline and I don't know what it will do with it, or if it sells it, it will declare that it is Azerbaijani gasoline. The [economy] ministry [of Armenia ] is not blackmailing, the regulations of the Ministry of Economy write: protection of consumer rights. And the consumer has the right to know whether it is Azerbaijani gasoline or, say, Romanian. And if, for example, it is Azerbaijani gasoline, but it says Romanian, that is where the Ministry of Economy will not allow."
