STEPANAKERT. – The Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and the state itself construct the region, expert Alexander Iskandaryan said during the international conference held in Stepanakert.

The expert said that there are two approaches dominating in the Karabakh conflict both for Armenian and Azerbaijani societies: reducing Karabakh’s significance or turning Karabakh into Jerusalem. Regarding the latter role, the expert stressed to distinguish between Nagorno-Karabakh and Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, as Karabakh is not limited to settling just the conflict.
