YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 388.91/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Friday, and thus the dollar devalued by 0.09 percent, or by 0.37 points, as compared with Thursday.

The trading session started at a fairly high rate of AMD 389.50/$1, but later the dollar’s offer surpassed its demand. 

The total sales were $7.3 million.

The US dollar somewhat “calmed down” at Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, too.  By and large, the exchange offices purchase it at AMD 388/$1 and sell it at AMD 390/$1.
