The entrepreneurial activities of e-commerce participants to offer and sell goods to consumers remotely will be regulated within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Armenian government, during its Cabinet meeting today, approved the proposal to sign the agreement on e-commerce of goods within the EAEU.

"The agreement will ensure proper mutual e-commerce within the EAEU internal market, protect the rights and legal interests of mutual e-commerce participants, and establish the rules of interaction between them," the draft explanation states.

It adds that this agreement is aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of e-commerce within the EAEU.

The Armenian government assures that discussions on proactive and mutually beneficial cooperation options within the framework of the EAEU will continue, aimed at making the most of the opportunities provided by the EAEU, as well as increasing trade and developing cooperation between partner countries.
