The US Commission of Fine Arts has approved the issuance of a commemorative coin featuring US President Donald Trump, the federal agency announced.

The respective statement notes that the commission, whose members were personally appointed by Trump, voted unanimously in favor of the design of the 24-karat gold commemorative coin.

The obverse of this commemorative coin will depict the current US president leaning on the Oval Office table with clenched fists.

In October 2025, it was reported that the US Treasury Department is considering the possibility of issuing new $1 collector commemorative coins featuring Trump. This step is planned to be taken as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the US.
