Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Marnix van Rij, Alternate Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Armenian government informs.
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy PM Grigoryan thanked the IMF for its constructive cooperation established with Armenia over the years, emphasizing that cooperation with the IMF relates to practically all key reforms being implemented in the country.
The importance of the approval of a new standby program with the IMF and its full implementation was emphasized.
Regional developments and the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative of the Armenian were touched upon.
The interlocutors exchanged views also on the priorities of the Armenian government in the energy sector.
