YEREVAN. – The volume of foreign currency trading in Armenia grew in the passing week.  

In the cash foreign currency market, the banks purchased US$ 73.5 million and sold $86.5 million. And as compared with the previous week, foreign currency trading increased by $4-5 million. 

There is an increase at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, too. The total volume of transactions constituted $17.9 million, as compared with $12 million in the previous week. 

Euro and Russian ruble trading were on the rise as well.
