At least six people were killed and 43 were injured as a result of strikes on residential areas of the city of Khorramabad in Iran's Lorestan province in the west of the Islamic Republic, local authorities reported.

"As a result of an enemy air attack on several residential buildings in the north of Khorramabad at 00:30 today, 6 people were killed, and 43 people were wounded and injured. The number of casualties may increase. Unfortunately, four residential buildings were destroyed in this attack and many buildings were damaged," the deputy governor of the province said, as quoted by NourNews agency.
