Armenia and Turkey are discussing the possibility of establishing scholarships for students of both countries at their respective universities. This was stated on March 23 by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan at a session of the standing parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations, during the presentation of the report on the progress and results of the implementation of the Government of the Republic of Armenia's program (2021–2026) for 2025.
The Minister clarified that a fairly dynamic, active, and promising dialogue is currently underway between Armenia and Turkey. "Clear agreements already exist between Yerevan and Ankara, the implementation of which is progressing in both countries. Moreover, the parties are now discussing the possibility of establishing scholarships for each other's students at universities in both countries," Mirzoyan said.
He also added that throughout 2025, numerous meetings and contacts took place between Armenian and Turkish officials, reflecting the dynamic development of dialogue between the two states.
