The escalation of the conflict in the Middle East was not occur through Iran's fault. This view was expressed by Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, noting that the conflict has already caused significant economic problems.

"Whatever your feelings about Iran, this war is not their fault. It has already caused massive economic problems, and I fear the situation will worsen significantly if the war continues," he wrote on X.

The Minister added that the sultanate is "actively working to create safe conditions for passage through the Strait of Hormuz."
