Middle Eastern countries are proposing de-escalation solutions, but they must be directed at the US, not Iran, as it is Washington that started the war. This was stated by the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic.

"Yes, there are initiatives from regional countries to reduce tensions, and our response to all of them is clear: we are not the side that started this war, and all these requests should be directed to Washington," the Mehr news agency quoted the Iranian Foreign Ministry as saying.
