Residents of Ahvaz (a city in Iran) formed a human chain around the Ramin power plant, demonstrating their support for Iran's vital infrastructure and their determination to resist threats, Press TV reports.

The Ramin thermal power plant is Iran's largest electricity generation facility.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump threatened to carry out large-scale strikes on Iran's power generation facilities, and later announced that he had suspended strikes on the country for five days — "not a time for negotiations." Meanwhile, Tehran states that no negotiations with the US have taken place.
