Neither the Iranian authorities nor the Iranian Armed Forces have sent any ceasefire proposals to the United States. This was stated by Yaqub Reza-zadeh, a member of the Majlis (Iran's unicameral parliament) Committee on National Security.

"There have been no negotiations or proposals regarding an end to the war and a ceasefire from diplomatic agencies, the government, or the armed forces," he said in an interview with the ISNA news agency.

Earlier, the Israeli outlet Ynet claimed that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in a conversation with U.S. Presidential Special Envoy Steven Witkoff, conveyed the consent of the Islamic Republic's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, to enter into negotiations.
