Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos has declared a state of energy emergency in connection with the Middle East conflict, France 24 reports.
He stated that the country's energy situation faces an immediate threat.
Marcos announced the creation of a committee to ensure the orderly supply and distribution of fuel, food, medicines, agricultural products, and essential goods.
