U.S. and Israeli forces have again struck the territory of the Bushehr nuclear power plant, IRNA reports.

"According to the Atomic Energy Organization, in a continuation of hostile actions by American-Zionist forces, a projectile struck the territory of the Bushehr nuclear power plant on March 24.

According to preliminary reports, the incident caused no material, technical, or human damage, and no parts of the plant were affected.

Earlier, another projectile also struck the plant's territory. That incident likewise ended without casualties or damage.

An attack on peaceful nuclear facilities is a clear violation of international rules and obligations that protect such sites from military action, and may have dangerous and irreversible consequences for the security and stability of the region, particularly for the countries of the Persian Gulf," the statement reads.
